BAD BLOGGER! BAD BLOGGER!

I've been a bad blogger of late.

No, don't try and console me. Not only have I neglected to visit as much as I'd like - in my defence my mam has been ill in hospital and then Mr T was admitted over night whilst he had what he likes to describe as his 'drains rodded' (yeah, in this house it never rains but it pours) - but it seems one or two of you are beginning to lament the absence of my Media Monday posts.

Something I haven't done in a while and to be honest was thinking about dropping from Pen and Paper. What I want to know is should it stay or should it go? Do you still enjoy my Media Monday posts or would you be just as happy to see it end?

Sorry to hear that your mom and hubby have both been ill. i hope that both are doing better.

I love Media Mondays, always brings smile to my face. Totally up to you whether to keep it or not. It must be a lot of work to find those stories. We all need a change/break every so often.

Best wishes.

I enjoy Media Monday, but can totally understand how time-consuming it must be to put together. Maybe you could just do the occasional media post, not necessarily on Mondays. That would take the pressure off of you, while providing us a fun treat when they do appear.

Hoping everyone's health is improving in your family!

Another thought..... perhaps you could just post a single item when you run across one that jumps out at you. (rather than working up a long, detailed entry) Folks with shorter attention spans like mine sometimes do better with these types of posts.

hi tracy, sorry to hear that your mum and hubby have been ill. i hope that both feel better soon!

i love media mondays, but can totally understand...it's definitely too time-consuming to select all those stories. maybe you could do a media monday post 2 times per month-instead of just posting 4 posts per month. just a thought.

big hugs
xx

Don't decide now. It's good to let everyone know you are taking a break but don't decide when you are so stressed. ((HUGS)) and I hope everything gets better for you quick.

Tracy, you're not a bad blogger, but a good family member. I hope everyone's feeling better soon.

I really enjoy your Media Monday posts, but I know how much work it must be to find those unbelievable, odd stories, figure out how to present them, and provide the links. Perhaps every other Monday would be less work for you. :)

Sorry about the things going on in your family. I hope everyone feels better soon. I like the Media Monday posts, but I would understand if YOU wanted to stop them for lack of time, etc. It's all up to you darling. :)

I am so sorry to hear about tour mother and husband. I hope that they are better as soon as possible.

I like your media Monday posts. But you should only get back to them when you really have the time to.

Don't worry, it's just a phase and it shall die out soon. Everything will be fine. I myself have been a lot off these days, hence I can totally relate to your thoughts. If the Monday Media posts are too heavy for you right now, it's okay to drop them. As others suggested, you can put it up as a monthly or bi monthly affair.

I love your blog for YOU Tracy, not for any specific type of posts. You are one of the most inspirational bloggers I have met in my entire blogging life and I am so grateful for that.

Take care, I keep the health of your mom and hubby in my prayers. I am sure they shall get better very very soon!

Monday Media makes me smile/think. Keep a little ( metaphorical) bucket by you to keep interesting things in. Share them when you have less on your plate. Keeping a thought for you.

I wish your family members better. I really enjoy your blog Tracy, I like the Monday post but please only do it if you are enjoying it and you have the time. As one who is blogging less herself I have to say I feel better about it now. Take care. x

Sorry to hear of the health issues (*HUGS*) my own family has had some themselves recently (tis the season) but regarding the media Monday posts, I'd say keep them if you still enjoy doing them. Do we? Sure... but if you don't, it defeats the purpose in my book. Much love my friend!

Hi Tracy,

I can only reiterate what everyone else has said so far. You should do what makes you happy and what makes you feel comfortable with yourself.

I too have made a conscious decision that I need to post less frequently, so I know how difficult a decision it can be.

Personally, I love, your Monday posts, although perhaps restricting it to fewer items might be the way to go in taking some of the pressure off.

It is always the wrong thing to make a decision when you are already stressed out by famiy issues and worries, so perhaps you should let the dust settle a little, then approach it calmly and methodically when you feel more calm and under less pressure.

Either way, I shall still look forward to stopping by.

I do hope that your family will soon be back in full health, meantime try not to worry too much and look after yourself :)

Do what you feel like doing in regards to blogging! I've struggled with this too but you need to blog in a way that keeps you happy.

Maybe only do it once a month?

I would rather have you enjoy blogging and stick around than getting overwhelmed and quit.

I haven't been around much either but noticed you too were away. I'm glad you've returned and will continue blogging, and hope your mum and husband are better soon!

In regard to MM - do what makes you happy. Perhaps continue it on an irregular basis, writing them whenever you want rather than on a scheduled day.
