It delves into mysteries involving famous figures as well as historical events such as assassination attempts, chance meetings, famous friendships, lost loves, air plane crashes, duels, and murders. Remember This? Please Note: Because of the nature of the book I wont be including The First Sentence nor my Memorable Moment.

MY THOUGHTS ... Having thoroughly enjoyed the author's Whisky And Blood, I was delighted to accept a copy of this, his latest book (thanks Kelly over at Kelly's Thoughts & Ramblings) .

A bit like finding yourself sitting next to a man who when you get talking to him has all of these funny anecdotes about world events, the famous and infamous, so I enjoyed my time spent reading this fun collection from columnist and podcaster, Brad Dison.

As interesting as it is entertaining, the chapters short, concise and written to keeping you guessing right up until the end when all is revealed. Yes, there were some of the stories that I was familiar with, others that I had heard tell of but as for the rest ...

You could have knocked me down with a feather as my nana was known to say ...

I really didn't know that about ...

Ah! you'll have to read the book to find out.

SUMMED UP IN A SENTENCE ... Proof that fact can be just as strange as fiction, an ideal read for those looking for the surprisingly true stories behind 50 of the world's famous people and events

It's always interesting to read real-life experiences that seem like stories of fiction. Glad you enjoyed this book.
