I first saw the 'Bibliochair' when someone shared it with me on FaceBook. A shame that further research proved me right .... it was expensive, very expensive.
'Perfect for those who like to read and want a comfortable sitting place that allows them to surround themselves with books.'
Now I just need someone to follow these instructions and make me one.
No takers?
Oh well! Perhaps I'll give these other bookish craft ideas a go ...
From book bins to a reading lamp
OR easier still ...
7 DIY bookmarks.

Ooh! You definitely hit the nail look the head with this one though to make a few of them world require hurting a book or two. *gulp* Great finds just the same!
What great ideas! I'm not the craftiest person in the world, but I might could handle some of those bookmarks. (and I LOVE bookmarks)
I sent the chair instructions to my younger daughter. Her new husband worked in a cabinet shop when he was younger so I bet he could handle that project. She loves books as much as I do, so I told her to plant that seed in his mind. :)
A great way to use all of those ARC books that I'm not allowed to give away/sell. I'd love to put them to a good use Gina.
I'm not at all crafty either Kelly but am tempted to give those bookmarks a go. How wonderful would it be to have your daughters husband make you both one of these chairs.
I love those bookmark ideas!
I like the chair!
Omg, I really want that chair. I love book crafts!

You find someone willing to make one for you and then cross an ocean to make one for me, let me know, eh? LOL
Innovative idea. But I prefer a conventional book shelf
Such fun and creative ideas! :)
These chairs are so cool!
Even though I went to the manufacturers website I could not find the price of the Bibliochaise. Not that I would likely be able to afford it.
The do it yourself one also looks great. I also would love one of these chairs.
Love the idea of that chair! Wonder how comfortable it is? I'm still searching for the "perfect" comfy reading chair, but no luck yet. I'm not crafty, but think I might try one of those bookmarks! Thanks for the link!
