TOP NINE ......?

  • Dimitri
  • Fred
  • Robin
  • Gaston
  • Beast
  • Johnny
  • Eric
  • Woody
  • Flynn
Care to guess what the above have in common?

The nine most popular boys names 2013/2014?

No.

The top nine favourite male cartoon characters of recent times?

No but you are getting warmer.

The nine male cartoon characters you secretly fancy?

Yay!

Not sure where they got their information from but if its here in the Metro it must be true, right?

For myself ....

Dimitri (Anastasia): far too smooth. Fred Jones (Scooby Doo): Hmm, not really into blondes. Disney's Robin Hood: Not an outdoor type, I couldn't envisage myself living in a forest. Gaston (Beauty and The Beast): Personally I prefer more brains and less brawn. Johnny Bravo: See Fred Jones and Gaston. Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid): Spends a bit too much time with his faithful man servant, Grimbsy, for my liking. Woody (Toy Story): I prefer my men more mature. Flynn Ryder (Tangled): dreamy eyes, (sighs) if only he'd have a shave.

Me?

Give me .....

Yes, my secret cartoon crush is Despicable Me's Gru.

On the face of it a little bit gruff and yet with a heart of gold. Tall and with a winning combination of intelligence and a powerful physique.

Which only leaves me to ask what about you, which animated character do you secretly have a crush on?

Oh, gosh...I'd have to give this some thought. Certainly none of those listed here. (though Johnny Bravo always makes me laugh) Perhaps I should choose the Genie in Aladdin. He could transform himself into whoever I wanted/needed at the moment!

Was hoping Dimitri would be from VA and I would be all over it. But he isn't comic

Tracy, you are so funny! I don't think I have a secret crush on any cartoon characters, but now I wish I did! (Too bad Despicable Me's Gru is already taken.)

Hmm...Aladdin maybe. I just think he's kind of adorable, and I love when he's stealing food and gives it to the little kids instead!

Now that's a tough question!

Maybe Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon?? If I was (much) younger or he was all grown up. lol

I like slightly dorky/nerdy guys and he HAS A DRAGON! ha!

Well ...for me it would have to be a female character :)

I think that I must go with Velma from Scooby Do. I always liked the brainy types :)

I have to say that I have had a thing for Prince Eric. When hubby and I got married, we even had Ariel and Prince Eric dolls in the wedding finery at the guestbook table.

That being said, I also have a thing for Dimitri and now Flynn Ryder. I guess it's that smolder.

I should also mention Cale from Titan A.E. I have a weakness for guys with a bad attitude.

Love love love this post. Agreed with all the reasons listed for those in the top nine and with your addition of Gru. As for an add in, I was going to say Aladdin but I see he's already on here. Umm, I'm at a loss cartoon wise. Can I go with the Winchester boys from Supernatural? (So I cheated...can you really blame me? ) ^-^

Haha! I love your answer. It's the best from the list. :-)

For me . . . I'm not sure. I'd say Casper, but he's a ghost and a child. Not much romance to be had there. LOL

What a funny list! Can't say I've ever had a crush on a cartoon character, but I like your pick!
