FROM HOGWORTS TO CAMBRIDGE.

An Internet prankster has posted a letter of rejection from Hogwarts University. Supposedly signed by the chief executive of University Applications Services (Ucas) the letter politely declines them a place at the magical university due 'to fact that it doesn't exist' before pointing out the candidate was woefully under qualified to study Wandology anyway. FULL ARTICLE

I love YoYo the Basset Hound and the "duck" tomatoes!

I'm a bit baffled by the Iliad stitching project. I'd be interested to see the completed work.

That embroidered Iliad is fascinating.

I actually think that when finished it will really be a work of art. It is likely to be very valuable too.

How in the world do you get an actual letter back from "hogwarts"

that's funny about the Hogwarts rejection letter. Ah, if only it was a real place...

They would allow cats but not dogs? That's just wrong!

Interesting articles! That's cool about the stitched Iliad. How time consuming!

Difficult to pick and choose. But the Hogwarts letter stands out.

Hi Tracy,

I really am intrigued by the embroidery project and would love to see the finished piece. It must really be a labour of love!

My favourite article this week has to be the 'Tardis Toilet'. Hubbie spotted this one and has shown the article to just about everyone we have met since. It looks lovely and clean, although I would be a little put off by the sound effects, worrying that the alarm might sound and the door open, whilst I was still sat there!!

Nice post as ever, have a great week,

Yvonne

I had heard about the ongoing battle between the two coworkers. I remember when a coworker stole and tried to ransom another coworker's Hogwart's Sorting Hat for a bag of M&M's. Then something else would disappear and the thief would ask for another silly ransom . . . I think the ransom was always paid and no one got in trouble. :-)

I wonder if my husband would believe me if I brought home a dog and tried to pass him off as a cat. :-)

the Tardis loo is wonderful. I'd use that.

love the sandwich story. i lost the odd thing from my work lunch until I started keeping it at my desk with a freezer pack instead. Guess that first fellow must make very tasty sandwiches.
