OF TATTOOS AND BOOKS.

How wonderful are these 50 tattoos? All of them inspired by childhood favourite reads, I think my favourites must be numbers 4 (The Chronicles Of Narnia) and 5 (Peter Pan). What about you?Oh, and which childhood read would prompt you to have a tattoo.

Me?

I rather like this (though perhaps without the figure bottom right) in honour of Enid Blyton's The Enchanted Wood books........

Many of these are gorgeous (and clever)! I like many of them, and don't have a favorite.

Neat tattoos! I especially like the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland ones and the Pooh ones too.

I love tattoos and think these are wonderful!

Despite my affection for Pooh, I believe my favorites are Waldo and the lamppost from Narnia.

#4 is so beautiful! And I can see why you like the Peter Pan one. I do too. :-) I think those two are my favorites as well.

If I were going to get a tattoo, it would have to be a literary one!

Wow! I was impressed with the details in some of those tattoos! i agree with you that I really like the Narnia one. :) Amazing to see all of these reminders of how many people are touched by books. Thanks for sharing- and your The Enchanted selection is excellent.

Hi Tracy,

I really dislike tattoos and could never have gone out with, or married a man with a tattoo.

Even worse are tattooed women, despite their usual plea of 'it's small and tasteful'!

If I had to choose from your selection though, for sheer nostalgia and because I am a Disneyholic, I would choose 41 and 42 'Winnie The Pooh'.

If you wanted my choice based on the design I consider to be the most skillful and attractive, my choice would be 15 'The Secret Garden'

Nice post, completely different.

Yvonne.
