THE NEWS ACCORDING TO KATE AND ANNOUNCING THE IN BLOOM GIVEAWAY WINNERS.

NOOOOO!

I don't know quite what I've done but at the click of a key I've somehow managed to erase the whole of this weeks Media Monday post.

What to do? What to do?

Aha! I know .....

I seem to remember Kate, a FaceBook friend of mine, posting a link to ......

The Local News Stories That Rocked The World.

Simply click HERE to view.

And now for the winners of the recent In Bloom book giveaway.

.......... Stephanie and Joan

As well as some other retailers copies of In Bloom are also available HERE from the publishers Constable & Robinson who I would like to thank for making the giveaway possible.

Sorry but I couldn't help but laugh about the guy with his head stuck in a bin. How embarrassing, and why??

Lots of birds seem to make the headlines, seagulls in particular. I wouldn't want to mess with that pheasant in the last photo!

I would like to know more about the "town centre cow drama". :)

Congratulations to the winners in the giveaway!!

LL Cool Joe: I actually featured this article on one of my regular Media Monday posts. I'm now trying desperately to find which one.

Kelly: Some detective work has thrown up the following article which I'm sure is what the poster refers to.

Congratulations to the winners!

Oh, my gosh, those headlines! LOL I almost spit out my water as I read them. Thank you for the laugh.

Hi Tracy,

You have no idea just how many times I have done something (obviously stupid, but I'm not sure what) and managed to delete entire draft posts, which I have then had to sit and rewrite.

I am a bit of a technophobe, so will often blame the computer, wordpress, the internet, basically anyone except myself. Hubbie is then quick to point out that most errors are those of the operator, which makes me feel much better .. NOT .. as I am sat reconfiguring my entire post from scratch!

Thank goodness you have freinds with a like minded sense of fun, I didn't even notice the join this week!!

Have a good week and thanks to yourself and Kate for my usual helping of weekly mirth!

Yvonne.

"Cheeky seagull nabs crisps"...ha! That actually happened to me one time while I was sitting down having lunch with my family on Liberty Island (Statue of Liberty). There are so many seagulls (flying rats) by the water and as I was minding my own business eating my french fries and burger, a seagull decided to take the plunge onto my plate...flap its wings like a demon and fly off with one of my french fries.
1. I almost chocked. 2. Once the shock wore off, I was in hysterics laughing because as the darned bird was flapping its wings in my plate, it hit my chin a few times with its wings. Those New York Seagulls are mean.
That never made it in the news though :P

Congrats to your lucky winners! Tracy, I am sorry about your Media Monday post! I've lost posts a few times and it is certainly not fun. Thanks for the link to the stories!

Congratulations Stephanie and Joan!

You are taking your lost post very well Tracy. When I lose something that I worked on and typed I typically scream and begin throwing computers.

I've lost blog drafts before, too, and I always felt like smashing my laptop. Then I coax it to work better and return me my drafts. But of course it wouldn't. Anyway, I had a good snigger reading those headlines, especially at the charity boxing match that ended up in a fight ...

Thanks again!
