WAX-ING LYRICAL.
Not a fan of either the so-called boyband One Direction OR waxworks - far too scary for my liking (and that's to say nothing of the waxworks) - it totally passed me by that they had recently been immortalised forever (or at least until they are melted down to make way for the next 'big thing') in wax.
Hard to tell the real from the wax version in the above photo shoot, I wonder if you'll do any better in this fun QUIZ (fingers crossed that you can access it)..... with a score of 14 out of 16 I know I did.

my daughter lives and breathes One Direction right now...lol. She loves them.
It's amazing how lifelike the wax figures look!
They are very lifelike! Fun post today, Tracy!
I LOVE Madame Tussauds and have visited the locations in Las Vegas, London, and Amsterdam. Some of the was figures are VERY convincing, others not so much.
That should have read "wax", not "was"
Its amazing, just on a lighter not, I wonder how much more space remains in Madame Tussauds with so many celebrities and stalwarts from every country finding a place there.
Oh Tracy
Our daughter is obsessed with these One Direction boys.
Gracie and her friend have tickets to see them in Sydney later this year, tickets booked over 12 months ago, as it's getting close to the time it's all we are hearing, please let it came quickly and get it over and done with.
I didn't know they had been waxed up.
That should read come and not came.
I have to admit, I love One Direction. Though it does seem a bit early to make them into wax figures...
That iS CRAZY! I did have to look for a minute to see which ones were real. Wild!
Scored 15 out of 16...only missed Joan Rivers but really, umm...no comment. ^_^ (For me, it's about the eyes...they can never achieve the sparkle, that glint of life in the wax images.) Fun post Tracy, thanks!
