ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

Such a feel good story.

A blind woman who did not realise the novel she was writing was blank after her pen ran out has been saved after a police force used forensic techniques to recover the words.  More

The stuff of my dreams!

The UK scientists who developed a prototype chocolate printer last year say they have now perfected it.
It would allow chocolate lovers to print their own custom-made sweets layer by layer. More

How's this for a grand entrance?

A bride arrived at her wedding resplendent in her white dress on the back of a trailer pulled by her favourite tractor.
Anna Woodall chose the less-than-ordinary wedding carriage after enjoying years of restoring vintage tractors with her father Alan. More

All's well that ends well ...... at least for these three lucky hamsters.

A hamster got stuck to its metal cage after swallowing a spider Man magnet.
Smurf's owner Kate Meech from Northampton told how she arrived home to find the hamster suspended above the ground attached to the outside of the cage. More

Like thousands of other animal lovers, Tasia Hadfield was determined to give her pet a loving send-off when it died.
Three-year-old Claudia had gone to the great cage in the sky. Or so it seemed.
For despite being buried in her makeshift coffin three feet below the ground, the plucky rodent was determined not to give up on life just yet.
She gnawed her way out of the box and burrowed up to the surface, before making her way back home. More

Not the only hamster to be resurrected over the Easter period, like Claudia, Rhino, rechristened as Jesus, also appears to have come back from the dead. More

Men be warned! There is nothing like a woman scorned and it's even worse when it happens on FaceBook.

CCTV shows footage of Claire Holley from Bolton smashing her ex-boyfriends car into the bowling alley he works at after he broke up with her on FaceBook.
Claire, 31, rammed her silver Ford Focus through the security bollards and double doors of the Hollywood Bowl in Bolton, causing £14,000 worth of damage. More

Who's been sleeping in Alexander's bed?

Alexander West (9) from Hemel Hempstead, Herts was stunned to see a baby fox snuggled in his duvet on the second floor of his home.
The youngster had left the back door of the townhouse open when he ran outside to play and the female fox had crept inside and made herself at home. More

Perhaps the most bizarre crime I have ever heard of .......

A man has been assaulted in his own home and then bizarrely covered in ketchup by his attackers.
Police said two men entered the victim's unlocked home, punched him and then poured tomato sauce over him.
The intruders are then believed to have stolen the victim's phone, phone charger and trainers. More

As always I will endeavour to bring you the links to articles I have used in my Media Monday posts but this is not always possible.

Oh wow....thank goodness they saved the novel! I get upset enough when a blog post I'm working on disappears! The wedding...too cute, though it wouldn't have been my chosen mode of transportation. The fox looks like he got comfortable in a hurry....reminds me of what my one pup does when he gets on the bed. LOL. The last one though....WHAT?! That is too weird....
(great post Tracy....thanks for the smiles!)

Petty, the first story is lovely, and the last one is very odd, although in S.D. there's a man who pours salsa on cars parked outside for some bizarre reason! (Perhaps we in the U.S.A. and the U.K. like our condiments a bit too much, and think they belong everywhere.) As for everything in-between, you find the best news tidbits to tune into on Monday mornings!

Love the fox story and I have to say even though it was probably dangerous for the hamster... I still laughed. :)

I can't imagine coming in and finding something like a fox in my house! And I probably shouldn't laugh, but the thought of a hamster "stuck" to his cage after swallowing a magnet is so funny to me.

Thank goodness that manuscript was recovered! I love the story about the fox. Oh, how special to find a fox snuggled in your sheets! As for the ketchup crime, uhm ... that poor, baffled guy.

Petty, I read on another post that you're recovering from a health issue (eyelid cyst). Hope things are better now! Take care.
