SHORT AND SWEET.

Sorry that today's post will be short and sweet. Husband dearest having had an uncomfortable night last night, we slept in late today (his work place having been closed due to the weather) which, combined with a a lengthy catch-up phone call with my (naughty) little sister, means I'm way behind. Anyway, thought I'd share this photo with you. Showing baboons at a safari park tucking into hot potatoes as heavy snows blanketed much of the country, it had me, despite my reservations about such parks (but that's a whole other post), going "aaahhh, how cute".

Oh and nearly forgot to mention, today see's Dorte's DJS KRIMBLOG celebrate it's 1st Blogoversary - well done Dorte. To wish her well and for a chance to enter her birthday competition, I hope you'll pay her a visit.

Until tomorow........

I hope you are keeping warm. The Easter US is having it pretty rough too. Iguanas are falling out of trees in Florida becasue it is so cold. I am pretty warm in the Arizona desert though!

Love the picture...don't normally find baboons that cute, but these certainly are. Stay warm! It's pretty cold over here as well (in the 20's F) but alas, no snow. Thanks for sharing....and happy reading!

Baboons in snow? Safari? Somehow doesn't seem cute for me.

Hope your hubby feels better soon.

What a funny picture!!

Cold here in south Arkansas, too. We're due to stay below freezing the next couple of days and get into the teens (F) at night. Pretty cold by my standards.

Stay warm there and hope your husband has a better night tonight!

I just love that picture. The temperature is meant to plummet even more tonight. We are looking at -7.

Baboons usually freak me out. (Wasn't there a scene in The Omen involving a baboon park?) But this picture is pretty cute.

It's pouring buckets of snow from the sky here in KY.

Petty, yes, I saw that on T.V. earlier today! Pretty strange, eh! It's supposed to be -19 here tonight, that's just about as cold as the Antarctic!
We've had a lot of snow, as you have probably seen, with us almost being neighbours, but we've had no snow today!
But more is forecast though!
Oh well, roll on this "Barbecue Summer" that they are all raving about!
Global Warming? You're having a joke!

Being in a warm country I haven't experienced such extreme weather conditions. Here in India , in my place it's pleasant and cool.:)
