Thank Goodness .....

..... the schools went back today for now Niece #2 will, hopefully, be able to supply me with some new jokes like these two.

What do you get if you cross a baby with a flying saucer?
- An unidentified crying object.

How do you tell if a monster has a glass eye?
- It comes out in conversation.

Pettywitter says: I don't know about you but the 'baby' joke was around when I was at school many years ago - funny (no pun intended) how these jokes get passed down.

I have to admit I have a weakness for silly jokes like this. I especially liked the one with the glass eye.

Here are a couple for you:

Why did the chicken cross the playground?
-To get to the other slide.

What does Santa do in his vegetable garden all summer?
-Ho Ho Ho

Thanks for dropping by Pen And Paper and your kind comments Rob. The cat is lovely isn't he?

At last, someone else who shares my love of silly jokes. Thanks for sharing your jokes Kelly - I'll be sure to share them if that's ok.

Feel free to share them. My kids read them in some magazine when they were small. They've stuck with me all these years for some reason.

I too love silly jokes.
Here's one Ant and elephant joke.

Both are friends one day elephant meets with an accident and the ant goes to hospital. Why?

of course to donate blood.

Thanks for that Chitra,

I have to apologise profusely. I believed that I had added you to my google reader and have just worked out that I hadn't. How rude of me. Am I forgiven?

You are indeed forgiven.
