As they approached a set of traffic lights the last thing a group of friends from Liverpool expected was to be overtaken by a mobility scooter, the rider of which pulled a side wheelie before running a red light.

I would think those policemen felt a bit silly after learning it was a fake snake (though it did look pretty convincing). I would have poked it or something to try and make it move before watching it too long.
If you DO try something like that on Madge, please make sure Mr. T is filming!

I had no idea that copper coinage wasn't legal tender ... It rather begs the question, why have it then? Mind you, with the 5 pence piece being equally pointless, that would give everyone carte blanche to increase prices by 10 pence a time minimum!! Mmmm I might need to re-think that one :)
I don't expect to see you and 'Madge' on the 10 o'clock news for speeding or running red lights ... Mind you, it was in Liverpool, so should I really be so surprised!!

That fake snake story is pretty embarrassing for the police but funny to read about. The next story about the bus driver shows the police in a much better light, but the bus driver should be ashamed. Good choices Tracy thanks for sharing them.
