Ugh. Photo frames made from placentas? That makes me queasy, and they look disgusting, too. Of all the things in the world to recycle...

Hmmm. That picture frame has to be one of the more bizarre things I've seen in awhile. I don't think I'd want one.

We must protect those 92 year olds from themselves lol

Hi Tracy,

I'm with everyone else, those frames made out of placenta actually sound nauseating and I made the mistake of opening the article and seeing the finished thing Ugh! I bet they are popular though .. a bit like the idea of having a loved one's ashes added to paint and included in a 'personalised' painting!!

I am loving the idea of the knitting machine powered by the force of 'tweets'. It's a shame that someone can't come up with an idea for a permanent piece of machinery which makes knits for charity, with the wool being donated by the public, along with their tweets!

An interesting, if slightly over the top selection this week, I am sure that we are becoming more eccentric with time in this country!

Have a great week,

Yvonne

These stories are just too much--too much fun, that is! My favorite one is probably the tweet-powered sweater knitter! That is very cool.

Love hearing these news stories! They're great for a laugh. And I second the poll about the paperclip. :)

Knitting done by tweets. Wow!

I guess paperclips are really important- I do use them every day. :)

Also- love the Brussels spout powered lights!

I actually know someone who claims to have been knocked down by a goose. Whatever the true cause of the incident it resulted in a broken wrist. Watch out for those birds!

Another amazing collection of stories, Tracy! Thank you for sharing them all. I love the animation of the ducks! :) I'd heard about all the clowns in Norfolk - bizarre!

The Knitbot idea sounds pretty fun. LOL

That is sad about the ban from feeding the ducks, but I do understand to some extent. The geese especially can be very aggressive.

Love the article about the paperclip. Pointless, yes, but it really is a handy little device. LOL

I love the tweeting knitter! That's hilarious.

I would think that any shopkeeper could tell that a 92 yr old was of age -- haha!

Hi Tracy, that council is barmy – lets all go feed some ducks! I’ve Tweeted #jumpers4des – well it would be rude not too. I would be thrilled to be asked for identity in Tesco’s – but I don’t think it's likely to happen. I have lots of lovely reading to do on your blog now that I’m back from my hols. Thanks for providing so much entertainment. Barbara xx

Paper clips are pretty important, though. If you get the colored ones you can make cool paper clip chains out of them to decorate your office :)

having gone through labour and delivery twice, If I am going to take something home, I'll take the baby and leave the placenta.
