NOMIT AND PICKLE GO SHOPPING.

My profuse apologies to Rachel who organised this tour, to the authors and publishers of both Nomit & Pickle Go Shopping and The Adventures Of Ellie & Boo as well as everyone else that I may have let down. There is no excuse, I let myself down badly by posting my thoughts on The Adventures of Ellie & Boo by Millie Kerr instead of Nomit And Pickle Go Shopping. Having corrected the mistake as soon  as I'd realised, I shall post my thoughts on The Adventures Of  Ellie & Boo on Monday the 14th of September as was planned.

It was a lovely sunny day in Bellaland and Nomit wanted to go shopping but as usual, had to get Pickle organised ... First Sentence (Page un-numbered)

MY THOUGHTS ... The first adventure of what promises to be many more. I thought Nomit And Pickle Go Shopping a fun read and loved that at the heart of the story there is a message, that of compromise.

Brother and sister, Nomit and Pickle, are sweetly illustrated; portrayed as a square and a triangle respectively I thought that for characters with such basic facial features they actually conveyed a mix of emotions well, making me smile. 

SUMMED UP IN A SENTENCE ... A fun little read with an important message at its heart.

ABOUT C.E. CAMERON ... CE Cameron is very much a family person. Nomit and Pickle have been created through observing and being part of the trials and tribulations of family life, growing up & the brother / sister relationship. The stories take you through various experiences as well as day to day challenges - even when it comes to the simple, daily tasks! She loves family, food and animals and lots of exploring. The characters have lots of adventures coming up, including little challenges, which could go wrong & generally do! There is a ‘thought for the day’ at the end of every adventure. CE Cameron is a private person who loves nature and believes the most important thing in life is family. She hopes the Nomit and Pickle Adventures will be great to read as a bed time story and for children seeing a positive at the end of any challenge!
