SOURCE ... A charity shop buy.
READ FOR A CHALLENGE? ... No.
MY THOUGHTS ... A handy glossy booklet of some 125 or so pages which contains everything from a guide of what is expected of you as a 'G-girl', information about Rituals, invocations and affirmations, guidelines as to how to use the 30 colourful cards that are also provided and information about the 30 corresponding goddesses (amongst whose number we have everyone from Aphrodite through to Yemaya by way of Mary) all housed in a sturdy, practical box.
As if the packaging wasn't enough of a clue, it soon become obvious that this was primarily aimed at a teenage market. The guide to being a G-girl, full of positive messages; 'G-girls love their bodies', 'G-girls live with passion and compassion' etc, etc, its just a shame that the language was somewhat twee; overly simplified at best, dumbed down at worst. However, that said ...
I found the guide to getting to know these 30 goddesses - some of which, I suspect, are fairly well known (Aphrodite, love/beauty), others (Kuan Yin, kindness/compassion) perhaps not so much -
and their attributes fascinating reading if a bit basic; the guide as to how to interpret their corresponding card, tying in well with that information and to the point.
The historical/traditional information could be better in my opinion but, all in all, fun.
For those more interested in the cards; for those who perhaps collect them, at £9.99/$17.99 (the retail price as on the box) still a fair price, you could always give the accompanying booklet away. And as for those perhaps not yet ready for the cards, well, the booklet, is in itself interesting.

Not really something I'd get into, but glad it ended up being okay for you, despite some shortcomings.
Tracy,
I am not certain if I would
add the Goddess Power Pack
to my list. Although all the
information about the goddesses
(whether I am already familiar
with them or not) would be
definitely interesting.
But thank you for your excellent
review.
Raven
This might be a good (helpful, positive) booklet for pre-teen or young teen girls. I enjoyed reading your post.
This set sounds like a lot of fun! I like that it's so positive too.
