A MEDIA MONDAY MALE SPECIAL.

Glad to have survived the Blood Moon, that the prophecy wasn't fulfilled, so without further ado let's get on with today's post.

Please note whilst I endeavour to keep Media Monday family friendly some of the articles featured do have links to articles of a more adult nature. TT

The world's most bizarre hobby?

With a membership of 3,000 worldwide, the latest enthusiast joining from Russia, some members of the Washing Machine Collectors Club drive hundreds of miles to do their washing, gathering in each others basements to wash their clothes in machines from bygone eras.

The UK's bravest man?

A 'henpecked' husband from Clitheroe, Lancs who has been married for more than half a century has braved the wrath of not only his wife but doubtlessly women everywhere by sharing his tips for domestic bliss - never break wind in bed being one of them - in his self-published book, The Squashed Man Who Married A Dragon.

Hmm, I think it safe to say Mr T would be in the remaining three quarters.

A survey has revealed that more than a quarter of men would like to wear heels at work believing they'd feel more confident.

Well, they do say 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' .....

Having been caught out playing away an adulterous husband was publicly humiliated by his wife who told him she was leaving him via a huge billboard on the M1 which read 'To my cheating husband ****. You deserve each other. When you get home I won't be there. Enjoy your drive to work! ****'

That washing machine club is a bit odd! I didn't get a chance to see the eclipse because it was cloudy here in my part of Ohio. My sister who lives in Oregon drove to the beach and watched it, and of course I practiced not being jealous. :)

There were some pretty good tips for domestic bliss in the full article. At least in my opinion. ;)

I can't imagine why any man would want to wear heels. They're usually too uncomfortable!

Each to their own, and if you want to travel miles to use someone else's washing machine, please do. I travel miles to look at quilts, after all!

It's interesting to read how many men would like to wear women's clothes. Why anyone would want to wear heels is beyond my understanding.

I am fascinated about the heels- when I don't want to wear them at all (and rarely put them on and certainly not for work). I don't feel confident in them and I just end up with my feet hurting. I guess different strokes for different folks. Then again- I sometimes complain about walking down the hall to do laundry and can't imagine driving so far to do my wash. Maybe I am the odd one. :)

As always- thanks for sharing!

Folks do like to collect old machines, I know that there are a lot of people who collect and restore old farm machines. Thus I understand the washing machine thing.

Men have it easy with shoes, why oh why would they want to torture themselves with heels

Wait a second...washing machine collectors? Men in heels (that happened in the 70's didn't it? )? Good grief! Another fun media Monday post for certain. :)
