MY LIFE IN BOOKS #2.

Looking for something else in the Pen and Paper archives I came across this fun meme from 2012.

The original idea of the 'game' being you finish the following statements by adding the title of a book you have read that year I decided to change it a little and use the books on my TBR pile.

  • In high school I was ... A Mother's Gift {Maggie Hope}
  • I will never be ... Proven Guilty {Jim Butcher}
  • My fantasy job is ... Heaven Scent {Sasha Wagstaff)
  • At the end of a long day I need ... Mercy {Jodi Picoult}
  • I hate it when ... The Stars Look Down {AJ Cronin}
  • I wish I had ... Star Style {Sienna Mercer}
  • My family reunions are ... A Discovery Of Witches {Deborah Harkness}

This is fun! I don't think I recognize any of the titles you used, so I look forward to the reviews. I do have two Jody Picoult books on my wish list, but not the one you mentioned here.

You've added a clever twist to this meme, Tracy! I haven't read any of the books you mention here.

What a fun meme! Especially love your first answers, as I'm sure you were your Mother's gift and will never, ever be proven guilty! lol

Hah how fun! I like the mother's gift one for high school. That would have been me too. I was quite good in school.

Hi Tracy,

A great fun post for an Easter Monday, although perhaps you had already had a bit too much sun and vino when you chose 'A Discovery Of Witches' for your family reunions :)

I have never read any of your book choices, although I have come across several of the authors names before and I do have the Maggie Hope book on my shelves. Of course I was always 'A Mother's Gift' at school! Seriously, I really enjoyed school and I was actually quite bright back then!

Have a good week :)

Hi Tracy, loved this, glad you found it in the archives and shared it again. We used to do something similar at school (unbeknownst to the teachers!) Someone at the front of the class would write a sentence on a piece of paper and pass it on to the next person. By the end of the lesson, we would be well on the way to writing a story!
Happy (belated) Easter, Barbara.

This is such a fun and neat and idea Tracy.

I will have to at least play this game in my mind.

I love your pick for the family reunion.

How fun! Loved seeing what is on your reading list in such a unique format.

The only one I read was Mercy. I read it for book club a few years ago. Not my favorite of her books, but I can relate to the sentence you used for the title. :)
