THANKS, BUT I REALLY DON'T WANT OR NEED VIAGRA.

Yeah, yeah, I know exactly what I did. Here was I posting about tolerance when I was feeling anything but tolerant towards those ......

(A)  Spammers who left me with no option other than to turn back on word verification ....... I neither need nor want viagra or any of the other various pills and potions you seem to think I'm in need of, a penis enlargement, a bust reduction, etc, etc.

(B) My very own mother who, having talked of nothing but 'C' since the back end of October, now feels the need to remind me every day that, not only has she finished her 'C' shopping but she has every last present wrapped. The reason I'm not full of the Christmas spirit mam is because it isn't Christmas.

Not that I can say a lot here for legal reasons but......

(C) The company who did such a terrific job of installing our boiler that we have been left without any hot water or heating for the last four months. Do they really think it is acceptable that a woman who needs crutches to get about is safe to carry boiling kettles of water.

Ah, that feels better, rant over, how are you today?

Wow, I haven't even bought a present yet for Sinterklaas and that's on the fifth of December.

Oh gosh, don't mention the C word. I am so not in the mood for it this year.
Sorry about your hot water problems, that's awful.
Spammers are like roaches, they never seem to die out. I think they'd still be spamming blogs after nuclear war.
Enjoy your weekend :)

Someone around here actually has had their decorations up for over 1 week. Now I love Xmas but really, far too early although I have started shopping.

Hope your boiler is sorted soon

The spammers are hitting me, too. It's driving me nuts!

Um, I guess now's not the time to tell you I've done the majority of my "C" shopping....and wrapped it, too!

...which I do early so I can actually get into the spirit and enjoy the holiday when it arrives. I have very little tolerance for rude people in the stores during the holiday rush!

I'm surprised you are getting Spam; I thought most of it would go into a Spam folder instead of being published. Sorry to hear about the lack of heat and hot water. Hopefully that will be fixed long before 'C' does arrive.

Aww, poor thing! I hear you on the spammers (*grumble*) and up til this week on the "C". A local radio station went 24/7 Xmas music at the beginning of November. *sigh* As for the water sitch, definitely not good. Best wishes things improve soon!

I haven't done anything yet to get ready for the C word. Soon! I don't like spammers either. I am sorry you have been having a problem! Hope your hot water gets fixed soon. Brrr!

I am sure you will feel better now after the rant but the word verification is really tough...They are difficult to understand.

Those are very legitimate reasons to rant.

Hi Tracy,

Word verification is a pain in the b**, but I can see why you need to do it. Luckily I have my own Wordpress site and that has built in spam detection, which has kept out 99% of the rubbish, although the odd one or two do slip through. Some days I can see that 20-30 spam messages have been detected, so I can fully appreciate your problem.

I am just not doing C at all this year, even the thought of writing cards is making me feel nauseous. Most of our immediate circle of family and friends are adults, with jobs earning much more than we do, so presents are really a superfluous extravagance for us right now.

I am assuming that you will have heat and water restored soon, you can't go on like you have been surely! I thought that the mainstream gas and electricity providers, moved much more quickly when customers who are elderly or infirm are at risk? Seems to me you have been more than tolerant!

Take Care,

Yvonne
