Today I've reached post number
What a strange week it's been, to think it was only last Wednesday that I was celebrating my 3rd Blogoversary and now here I am announcing my 1000th post.
Strange and somewhat revealing, a bit like looking back at old diaries or school assignments, I was amazed to re-read some of my old posts like this, MY FIRST EVER POST, or this, MY FIRST BOOK REVIEW, and see how much my style had developed.
Anyway, enough of me and onto a poem that just about sums up how I feel about you my blogger buddies.

Hello Petty,
What a grand achievement in three years. Fabulous. I have already met one blog friends. I am also sure you will some. Some faces we have seen in the photo they put up in their blogs. Some faces we have not seen because they want to be anonymous. But even then we know them quite well from what they write.
My hearty congratulations to you on this wonderful achievement. I really don't know when I will reach even one hundred mark. But then I plod on slowly and surely, hesitating every now then and taking my own time.

Perhaps you must be one of the most vociferous devourer of books. Back in India in my home town , lived an erudite professor , the late Krishanan Nair who may be ahead of you by a few books.

Considering that three years ago you were still a complete luddite refusing to even touch a computer, I have to confess that I am impressed and in awe of your work here...but then, I didn't doubt your ability. Congratulations my beloved on both anniversaries.
