HERE'S ASKING YOU .......

Well it seems that lots has been happening since I last got around to visiting you. My apologies that I haven't been around as much, nothing terrible has happened and I am quite well, thank you for all your concern. We have had Lisa, our young friend from Germany staying, and keeping up with an active 15 year old is proving great fun but very tiring.

Anyway, some bloggy news from some of my blogger buddies.

It was with great sadness that I read Misha's FAREWELL POST. A good blogger buddy and FaceBook friend of mine for quite a while  Misha has been going through a rough patch for some time now and has decided to bid a farewell to blogging. Though I shall of course miss Misha, I understand that her health must come first and wish her well.

On a more positive note ........

I was delighted to hear that another good blogger buddy of mine Dorte of DJSKRIMIBLOG has had her novel published.

A humorous cosy mystery, set in Yorkshire 2010.

The vicious attacks begin when the prodigal son of Knavesborough, Mark Baldwin, returns to the sleepy village after forty years in Argentina, fully equipped with fame, fortune and effeminate butler.

Small wonder that the spiteful nosey parker Rose Walnut-Whip is stabbed, but how could the murderer get away with shattering the perfect, English tearoom idyll in front of twenty villagers?

Constable Archibald Penrose is in dire need of assistance as his superior, DI Mars-Wrigley, is preoccupied with England´s chances in the football world cup. Penrose´s enthusiastic fiancĂ©e, the mint-new librarian Rhapsody Gershwin, is more than willing to help as she sees this as Penrose´s route to promotion (and a welcome raise).

As she is the vicar´s daughter, Rhapsody´s treasure trove of local knowledge may come in handy, and to be perfectly honest, the young sleuth may also be a tad curious. And of course the crimes do not stop here. A dangerous criminal is on the lose in Yorkshire. Can the young couple stop the perpetrator in time - Amazon.

A huge fan of Dort'e, THE COSY KNAVE is available from both Amazon and Smashwords  but if you purchase it from Smashwords you can get a 25% discount by using the coupon code PN22N AND in the meantime you can read the first review by clicking HERE. Oh and be sure to check out Dorte's  Relay Race which will be hosted by various different bloggers until August 15th. Check HERE for the start of the race.

Not to forget all of my other blogger buddies though. My apologies once again that I haven't been such a regular visitor, it goes without saying that I've missed reading all your posts and hope to catch up real soon.

You are kind of multifaceted.

A good blogger and a good reviewer.
Your uncanny ability to pick the subject for blogging is quite good. I Enjoy this, and thanks.

Best of luck to both your friends. I am sorry about Misha, I hope she recovers.

I have missed you around the blog-o-sphere....no apologies needed...there's not enough hours in the day and I know firsthand how blogging can get put on the backburner.

Best of luck to both your friends … for obviously different reasons. And enjoy Lisa while she is there! Blogging will still be there when the visit is done.
