Thought to be caused by a drop in the male hormone, testosterone, its main 'symptoms' are anger and sullen withdrawal in men aged between 40 and 60.
Hmm, I don't know about it being only a condition found in men as, if I'm being totally honest, I can be grumpy every now and then - just ask Husband dearest how much earache he has been getting over Blogger in the last week or so.
Ah the joys of Blogger, just when I thought it had all been sorted and I could post and comment away to my hearts desire yet another gremlin seems to have worked its way into the system - this time when leaving comments on some of my blogger buddies sites only half the words are forming (if I'm lucky, some words aren't appearing at all)not that it really matters as I'm unable to post anyway as clicking on 'Post Comment' seems to have zilch effect(Aggghhhhhh) so apologies if I haven't been my usually communicative self, I have been visiting .... honest.
Anyway ........
Thanks to The Sun newspaper for printing this 'grump' test which you can take by clicking HERE.
Taken from Geoff Tibball's new book
if you tick more than half, you've definitely gone to the GOGs.
Need a second opinion?
Click HERE for the OKCupid's The Grumpy Old Man Test which states ....
Do you correct everyone's grammar and expect them to care? Do you find yourself constantly shouting at a non-responsive television screen? Then you may have a "healthy" grasp of the grumpy old man in you.
But be warned it is a dating site that will ask for some personal information, just ignore this, the questions are optional, and click for your results. Mine showed ......
I had a 14% grumpiness rating.
Whats yours?

I am always irritable :))))) Born with IMS. I have heard about IBS
By the way, IMS is used in telecom world for 'IP Multimedia Services'.
That was an interesting set of questions Petty! I enjoyed answering all of them and here are my results:
Very Pleasant. You scored 3% in grumpiness!
And it also had the following note below my results which made me giggle:
Why did you even take this test? You're so sweet it's sickening. Get out of here, you're wasting my time!
Sure, that makes my day!
This is the best!!! I think we all get a touch of it as we age...and teenagers corner the market...lol
6% It is :)Even i am facing some problems while commenting on few blogs.I hope everything will be all right soon.
Blogger makes me grumpy all the time! :D lol
Also called Grouchy Old Men (did you see that movie?) - Not to be too medical, but I believe the explanation for this are the aches and pains, be it from arthitis or 'irregularity' that older people suffer from (TMI?)Haha!
But of course, that does not explain bloggers current problems.
Petty, I scored 14% on the test. Apparently, I am very pleasant! :D
Fun post!
GOG - that's a new one for me!! I won't blame it all on my husband either, since I can be pretty grumpy myself at times. I'm afraid to take the test for fear of what it will say!

That's funny. Oh I've been having blogger probs, so I'm not taking it! lol

Blogger can make saints grumpy - which is why I switched to wordpress last week.
I am never ever grumpy which is why I am not going to take the test - I GET SERIOUSLY GRUMPY WHEN I AM PROVED WRONG!!!!
This explains A LOT about Mr. Jenners. And I'm glad it isn't just me having commenting problems. Blogger has been a real pain in the arse lately.
Uh-oh....I scored 17%! :o
In my house we both have Ifs and Ims ":))So there is no need to take the test I feel. But jokes apart,I never knew of IMS seriously..thanks for posting that!!

A perfect example of developing habits is to help the ADHD sufferer find appropriate areas where things that are constantly used, like books and toys, can be kept. Organizing things in appropriate places is the main point here.
