Tired of your pet scratching the door to come in?
Then you're ready for the PETCHIME, a wireless doorbell that allows your pet to tell you when it wants to go out or come in to the house. To activate the chime, your pet simply has to step on or push the paw shaped transmitter with it's nose.
From £25.

Barking mad indeed. Who on earth thought this one up and will it sell!
Hi Middle Ditch, nice to meet you. Theres bound to be someone who'll buy such a thing.
I encouraged my chatty niece once to start blogging. What a delight to my ears that was.
Isn't that a cute gadget! It's cheaper for me just teaching them to bark when they want out. Too bad only one of them will do that (Betty). Alice and Esther both scratch (rough on the door frame!) and Mabel just waits for someone else to alert me. Believe me... there's plenty of "in and out" around here!
Okay, but then you have to deal with your dog ringing the bell all the time -- as well as any other animal that wanders across. And what if your dog's an idiot?
I need to show this to my mom!!!!!
