DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

Can you guess what this is?

No, not some kind of exotic flowers, try again.

Uh-uh, not some kind of virus or bacteria viewed under a microscope.

Taken in very high focus by photographer Gabor Pozsgai, if you look closely you will see that its actually a photo of three tiny chicks waiting to be fed.

Oh yeah, so it is.

- Thanks to Craig for sending this.

  1. Hello PW.

I am back. It was a quite a strain settling down in a new place. Things are getting back to normal mode.

  6. Oh my gosh, that is so cool! I couldn't see it until you told me, as the inside of their beaks look like little faces. Too funny!

  7. I saw that - but then I've got robins that have built a nest on one of the posts holding up my deck so I see that view through the slats. Now that we have a couple cats, I doubt we'll have robins.

  9. Hi Tracy,

What a fantastic photo and so difficult to spot what it actually was. I am getting 'into' chicks right now, as a friend has just managed to hatch 4 out of 12 eggs and gives me constant daily updates and pictures of the chicks as they begin to mature.

Unfortunately, 2 of them are cockerels, so have to go, as they predominantly want the females to lay eggs for eating, also the neighbours may not be too impressed!! Dave (her husband) has become quite attached to the male birds though, so they now have the dilemma of which of them is going to do the deed and get them ready for the oven, when the time comes!!

Great shot and thanks for sharing,

    Yvonne

  10. I actually talked myself into seeing three baby hedgehogs made of orange Jello! Seriously … look the nose and the eyes and all. And being your blog, I had hedgehogs on the brain!
