WHAT IS A CELEBRATION WITHOUT A CAKE?

Weddings, Christenings, birthdays, and even divorces ....... yes, every celebration needs a cake.

Featuring cakes from the amazing website CAKE WRECKS, can you spot the little oddities that make these cakes stand out?

No?

Scroll down ........

#1 Notice anything strange about the grooms attire? Look at his trousers. Oh that's right ...... he isn't wearing any.
#2 Simple but pretty, I quite like this cake APART FROM that glaring spelling mistake. Yes, the word 'trust' has had an extra letter added.
#3 Personally not too keen on that green icing but hey each to their own. I wonder if that misspelling wasn't such an accident.

One cake I do kind of like though is the above Halloween-themed wedding cake which, including jelly eye-balls and skulls and skeletons stuck into the sickly green icing, has a zombie bride with her dead husband perched on top. Full article

And talking of cake .......

With one in twenty Brits saying they eat cake up to four times a week, according to a poll involving 2,000 people chocolate sponge has been voted the nations favourite followed by

  • Victoria Sponge
  • Black Forest gateau
  • Carrot cake
  • Coffee cake
  • Battenburg
  • Fruit cake
  • Christmas cake
  • Banana cake
  • Angel cake.
And last but not least ......

How's this for a fangtastic cake?

It was made for six-year-old Claudia who asked for something 'spooky' after a trip to the zoo. rMore

  1. I do not like that Halloween-themed wedding cake. It's weird and scary to be a wedding cake. :) LOL.

  4. I think that snake cake is great!!

My favorite cake is probably Carrot or Italian Cream. Caramel cake is yummy, too!

  6. It took me a minute to find all of the mistakes on the cakes- but I got them after you asked. One of my friends had a Frankestein-themed groom and bride atop their cake. It was fun- I bet they would have loved the zombie cake. :)

The wishes for the "weeding day' is great as the groom caught with his pants down or not.

  9. LOL...certainly "eye opening" post

Am not sure whether you have it there but in Msia, usually before the wedding, the couple would go and take pre-wedding photos. It comes in a lovely photobook sort of album. The photography shop would decorate the album with song lyrics and lovely snippets. Unfortunately, some are more talented that others. the snippets or song lyrics they put in there is about love lost and those similar. I was thinking when i saw those album, when is the matter with those shop? Cant they see it's a wedding? why put those words in. Like gonna jinx the wedding or something like that.

  17. I love the Cake Wrecks site … so many hilarious ones. These are excellent!!! And that zombie cake is just gross looking -- I don't often pass up cake but even I wouldn't want to eat that. I don't believe the snake one is a cake. Looks too real.
