MOOOOOOOO.

Ever wondered about what you'd like to come back as in your next life?

Not that I'm saying I necessarily believe in reincarnation but it has crossed my mind, my first thought being a cat. Not anything exotic you understand, just a common or garden moggy would do. But actually it wouldn't, I'd only want to come back as a cat if I could be the pampered feline companion of someone like myself and Husband dearest - talk about loved, I don't think our beloved cats (sadly no longer with us) had any complaints on that front.

No, not a cat then. How about a ............

 ?

Not just any old cow though - a Somerset cow.

A Somerset cow? Yes, a Somerset cow living on Brue Valley Farm.

Not only do these cows get to listen to classic music (perhaps we could negotiate on that and I could have a little Meat Loaf played instead) BUT, and here's the really good bit, they spend up to 18 hours a day lounging on specially designed water beds.

So come on, spill the beans, which animal would you like to be?

  1. A dolphin! Or a manatee! No, definitely a dolphin.

  2. Cows lounging on water beds? O_O Uh-huh. *ahem* As for me? Umm, a dog or a cat. Nothing exotic either, but both usually get lots of love and companionship....plus I hear a lot of librarians love a kitty in the "house". (Yep...I'd be the world's first reading cat or dog...hehe) ^_^

  3. LOL. Tracy, you are so funny!!
I would probably want to be someone's pet dog. They live in so much comfort, if the owners are nice people.

  6. Some great answers.

To answer your question NRIGirl: 'Little Plum' now almost 7 months old is doing well. Showing signs of crawling, and his first two teeth are almost through. Hopefully I'll have some photos to show you soon.

Good to see you back kathy.

  7. Petty you know I'm partial to les vaches, and the music and waterbeds sound nice, but. . . .

How about a sleek jaguar or leopard?
Or a turtle or tortoise who boasts longevity?
Or an elephant--if I could get over being plus-sized?

Fun post! I tried to comment earlier, via iPhone, but I don't think it went through.

  8. I love the irony of a cow listening to Meatloaf. :) If I came back I'd want to be a bird of some sort.

  9. I honestly hadn't thought of that Alyce - if only I were that funny.

  10. If I was going to be a cow, I'd be one that gets slaughtered for Kobe beef. They get pampered, massaged, fed beer... a good life and then quick execution. Not that would be my choice... but if I HAD to be a cow... then sure, why not? ;)

I'd wanna come back as my sister's or older brother's dog. Talk about pampering!

  13. lol about the Somerset cows living on Brue Valley Farm, they sound spoiled.
I think I'd want to be a bird, but a free exotic one, like a flamingo perhaps.

  14. A bird would be nice, as I think it would be awesome to be able to fly. Otherwise, I'd definitely want to come back as a pampered cat!
