Out of curiosity, I watched some of the movie when it was on TV not that long ago. I'm not sure how closely the movie followed the book, but I thought the movie was ridiculous. The stereotypes. The preaching. The holier than thou attitude. Not my cup of tea at all! Another well done review!Terri @ Alexia's Books and Suchhttp://alexia561.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372511622978085955.post-29799943646718725892019-06-22T16:14:04.074+01:002019-06-22T16:14:04.074+01:00Thank you. The stereotypes bothered me and the whole story just didn't sit right. It was surprising how many people loved the book and I wasn't sure if no one else was seeing what I was seeing. Great review!<br />~JessDMShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04202502753961748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372511622978085955.post-52032327381675213372019-06-22T06:24:47.095+01:002019-06-22T06:24:47.095+01:00Tracy,

In fact I am curious about such arguments and like to read books and talk to people about them. However, I hate platitudes and simplistic interpretations. This really does not sound worthwhile.
